Based off of specific examples of vintage flannel workshirts from Sugar Cane's archive, these workshirts are made with a unique herringbone twill flannel, which differentiates itself from the usual cotton twill flannels with four warp and four weft colours and a bit more inherent texture to the fabric, with a soft brushed hand. These shirts are made with multicoloured marbled buttons and gradient labels, which were used in the 1940s and 50s by manufacturers in an attempt to assert their own unique brand identities.
